AMK COLLECTIVE
We’re very excited to share that we’re launching a new series of events and workshops in the atelier, in collaboration with other creative and talented makers. On Sundays, we’ll host hands-on workshops or creative gatherings — either in the atelier or out in nature.
We call it AMK Collective. It’s an invitation to step away from screens and busy to-do lists, meet IRL, and create together. Learn new crafts, share ideas, or simply go for inspiring walks in nature.

Repair Your Favorite Garment is a hands-on care & repair workshop focused on giving new life to the clothes you love.
Through simple upcycling techniques and creative mending, you’ll learn how to restore, customize, and reimagine a garment in a thoughtful and sustainable way.

BIRDING & HIKE
MAR / 22 / SUN in the Kennemerland dunes
Join us for a relaxed morning by the sea. We’ll meet in the dunes and go for a gentle hike, visiting birding huts and enjoying time outdoors — away from screens, with space for conversation or quiet moments in nature. Please dress for the weather and bring water. Binoculars are welcome, but we’ll also share within the group.
After the walk, we may enjoy lunch together at a nearby beach café. I’ll be driving from the atelier and have space for four hikers in my car.

BREADWORKSHOP
APR 12 / SUN sourdough - LEAH'S
Do you love truly good bread and would you like to learn how to make it yourself? Baker Leah ter Berg will guide you through a 3-hour workshopwhere you’ll learn how to bake delicious sourdough bread at home.
We’ll walk through the process together and get hands-on. During the workshop, you’ll receive the most important tips and tricks, and afterwards you’ll receive a document with additional information so you can confidently get started at home.
At the end of the workshop, you’ll take home your own sourdough starter and a portion of dough to bake at home.

HIKE & SAUNA
APR / 26 / SUN in Vreeland - De Saunaboot
Come along for an active yet relaxing afternoon in Vreeland. We’ll start with a one-hour hike in nature. After the hike, De Saunaboot will pick us up for a soothing sauna session, followed by a refreshing dip in the lake and a warm cup of tea.
It’s an afternoon to enjoy the outdoors — away from screens, with space for conversation or quiet moments in nature. The groups will be up to 7 hikers per group. Bring a friend or meet a new friend along the hike.

💰Price: €45
🕐Duration: We will have two goups:
Group 1 start 12:30 1h hike, 1.5h Sauna & swim

JEWELRY WORKSHOP WITH WAX
MAY / 24 / SUN carve with wax - Joana Kazmaier
We’re delighted to welcome jewellery maker Joana Kazmaier for a hands-on wax carving workshop at the atelier. You’ll be introduced to the Lost Wax Casting process and guided in creating your own jewellery designs using wax and carving tools.
Create rings, earrings, pendants - or multiple pieces if you wish. After the session, you can choose which designs to have cast in silver, gold, or bronze. Casting and finishing will be completed the following week, and your final pieces will be ready for pickup.
Please note: The workshop price includes all materials for carving, but not the cost of casting the final jewellery pieces.

JUN / 25-28 / FRE-SUN Camping festival
Welcome to our camping, jamming, eating, singing ’n picking weekend in the woods - celebrating swedisg midsummer.
If you’re wondering what the plan is—well, it’s exactly that. A few days of music, shared meals, crafts, forest walks, and plenty of time to simply be together.
We’ll be staying at a group campsite in the woods, where everyone brings their own tent or camping gear and food. We’ll cook together, gather around the campfire, and dance under the stars with a silent disco. Come as you are, bring what you love, and join us for a relaxed, creative weekend in nature.
📍Location: LANDGOED MARIAHOEVE ,Papenvoort 2
💰Price: Depends on the group size, around €30 per night.

HANDBUILDING CERAMICS
JUL / TBC / SUN play with clay - Julia Crijnen
Out on the beautiful farm De Stadsgroenteboer, Julia will host a hands-on ceramics workshop surrounded by nature.
During this handbuilding workshop, you’ll have the freedom to create whatever inspires you — cups, plates, oil diffusers, or anything else your imagination dreams up. The sky truly is the limit. Julia will gently guide you through each step of the process, helping you shape, build, and bring your ceramic pieces to life.
After the workshop, your creations will be fired. Once they’re ready, you can pick them up at the AMK atelier.

COOKING WITH FIRE
AUG / 23 / SUN breadbaking in nature - LEAH'S
Do you love the smell and taste of cooking over an open fire? In this workshop you’ll create a delicious seasonal meal together with baker and cook Leah ter Berg, entirely prepared over the fire. We’ll bake bread and cook with local vegetables, then sit down together to enjoy what we’ve made.

With decades of experience working with indigo, Celia will welcome us into her world for a truly hands-on workshop. You’ll dive into the rich history of natural indigo, discover its living, breathing magic, and experience the beauty of this ancient dye process up close.
