EDUARD NIJGH
Eduard Nijgh is a talented photographer // videographer who has helped me at AMK Atelier to create beautiful photos and videos of the work in the atelier. Eduard works as a freelance visual creator and he is also part of the BENZAK team developing denims.
DESIGN -
MADE TO MEASURE
Eduard and I worked on several projects together, and it was time to make him a special garment!

DESIGN
We created a worker pant, with functional tool pockets and small details reminiscent of the collaboration between AMK atelier and BENZAK.

We created a special label with both our branding on so the back pocket has both AMK atelier and BENZAK as branding, and is a tribute to our passion for denim and work together.

The design and pattern was created in the atelier, and all photos during the process were made by Eduard with his analog camera.
FABRIC - JAPANESE ECRU TWILL
FABRIC & TRIMS
We chooe a crispy twill in an ecru color (12oz) for this workers pant. The weave is open and relaxed, which fits the silhouette of these wide-legged pants. The composition of the fabric is 100% cotton, coming from Japan.

The pocketing is a vintage cotton cloth found in my mom's attic in Sweden. We chose a brass zipper, matching the beige pocketing.

The button used is a BENZAK button, again to reflect our collaboration and a tribute to the 2 brands.

The pant is one of a kind, and only one piece was created straight from the measurements of Eduard. All put together in the atelier.
