All Tenue. jeans are produced with the philosophy that the most sustainable jeans are the ones that last the longest. Our jeans are made to the highest standard in Italy and Japan using organic cotton, recycled cotton or a combination of both.
DEVELOPMENT & PRODUCTION
The team and brand Tenue is growing quickly and as many brands that do so, they have to at some point redefine the framework they work from. I was asked to align the designs and the fits to each other and to shorten the design and development process. We streamlined their tools and way of working. I supported the Tenue team office for half a year.
DEVELOPMENT & PRODUCTION
Together we created a flow of how to work together in the team and with their suppliers. We aligned company calendars with design, development and production. This resulted in a collection build up to have seasons and a core program.
FIT OVERVIEW - PATTERN LIBRARY
Apart from the coaching for the set up in the team for development and production we did an investigation to their current products and fits and size-sing.
BODY MEASUREMENT
We aligned the Tenue. body size based on the particular market to which they sell their products. All designs and fits are made to fit this body so the sizes and styles will be clear to the customer and improve online sales, where the customer can't fit the garments.
SIZE & GRADING
The Tenue. grading is created to match all product groups in their collection and aligned with their body measurements.
ALIGN STYLES & PATTERN LIBRARY
We fitted the total Tenue. collection and aligned all silhouettes to each other so all shapes "make sense" in wearing and buying. Each fit received a base pattern with graded size spec. This keeps their design archive fixed throughout sourcing of suppliers and new developments.
WOMEN'S DENIM
We worked on developing their women's line with some new fits.
